Anthony Maddox

Anthony Maddox, age 49, of Clarksville, TN, passed away at his residence on Thursday June 3, 2021.  He was born April 12, 1972 in Mobile, AL.  Anthony served his country for eight years in the US Navy and an additional fifteen years in the US Army.  He retired with the rank of Sergeant First Class.  He had worked many years in civilian occupations, but his love was the military.  Anthony was a lover of all kinds of music.  He is survived by his son Hassan Maddox and his daughter Iman Maddox.  Also surviving are his brothers Jamarcus Maddox of Mobile, AL; Jerome Reuben of Richmond, TX; and Gary Lucas of Clarksville, TN; as well as his sister Renada Lucas of Mobile, AL.  Anthony is preceded in death by his mother Delores Maddox.   Graveside funeral services with military honors will be conducted on Friday June 18, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Kentucky Veteran Cemetery, West in Hopkinsville, KY.  Arrangements are under the care of Gateway Funeral Home and Cremation Center  335 Franklin Street  Clarksville, TN  37040.  Phone 931-919-2600.  Online condolences may be made by going to www.gatewayfh.com.
