Amanda Lee Ward

Amanda Lee Ward, age 75, of Southside, TN passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at her home. She was born on January 13, 1947 in Clarksville, TN to the late Lawrence Moore, Sr. and Maggie Lee Williams. Amanda graduated from Burt High School, class of 1966. She retired after being employed with A O Smith for 38 years. Amanda was a devout member of Cabin Row Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor James Trotter. Amanda loved to cook, and was well known for her sweet potato pies. She enjoyed completing crossword puzzles, as well as watching MSNBC and Days of Our Lives. Amanda was a faithful member of the St. Mary's Chapter No. 5 O.E.S.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Reginald (Debbie) Moore, one brother; Will D. (Mary) Moore of Bunnlevel, NC, granddaughters, Rochelle (Sean) Moore and Sierra Moore, and great-grandchildren; Iyana Streeter and Declan Manley, also a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, and special friends; Gwen Moore, Joyce (Jesse) Fletcher, Elsie (Joe) Trotter, and Bonnie Fletcher.

In addition to her parents, Amanda is preceded in death by three brothers, William T. Moore, Lawrence Moore, Jr., and Clement D. Moore, and one sister; Shirley Moore.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Cabin Row Missionary Baptist Church in Southside, TN at 12:00 P.M. with visitation for one hour prior. Pastor James Trotter will officiate the service. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
