Althea Christine Grant

Althea Christine Grant age 72 of Clarksville, TN, passed away at her residence on June 26, 2020. She was born October 1, 1947 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Roy Lewis Grant Sr. and Jacqueline Thompson Waddell of Chicago, IL. During her life, Althea had worked with children as an educator and librarian. She is a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses. In addition to her Mother, Althea is survived by three children, Philippe Gills of Chicago, IL, Manuel Gills of Waukeegan, IL, and Ollie Gills of Portland, OR. Also surviving are sisters Carole Liantonio of Clarksville, TN, and Wendy, Virginia, Gloria, Ramona, and Denise as well as brothers Clifton Waddell, Roy Grant Jr., Ray Grant, and Rory Grant. She is also blessed with nine grandchildren. There are no public funeral services planned at this time.
