Alan Wilton Beaverson

Alan Wilton Beaverson, born on August 9th 1952 departed this earthly life on Thursday, December 1st 2022 at the age of 70.  He was the son of the late Harold Austin Beaverson Jr. and Patsye (Horn) Beaverson both of York, PA. 

He is survived by his spouse, Cheryl (Hasley) Beaverson, three sons: Michael Henderson of Birmingham, AL, Corey Beaverson (wife Melissa) of Woodbridge, VA, Leighton Beaverson (partner Donna) of Clarksville, TN, two sisters: Delilah Hayes (husband Doug) of Clarksville, TN, Carmela Davis (husband Richard) of Clarksville, TN, nine grandchildren (Noah, Olivia, Chloe, Derek, Madison, Parker, Lucas, Caleb, Avalon), three nephews (Chad, Aaron, Jason) and two nieces (Jaime, Jenny), and his extended family.  

Like his father, Alan excelled at solving problems and fixing anything in need of repair.  He focused on automotive and heavy equipment  mechanics but never turned down a challenge or opportunity to learn something new.  Born in York, PA, his early childhood was as part of a military family that settled in Clarksville, TN after tours in Germany and Maryland. 

Alan spent his later years on a small farm in Fredonia, TN that he affectionately referred to as the 'Beaver-rosa'.  He loved his family dearly, as well as motorcycles, racecars, boats and anyone willing to spend a few moments of time with him.  His laugh and smile will be missed by many.  

A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, 12 December 2022 at the Clarksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church located at 1410 Golf Club Lane.  Family will receive friends at 1:00pm with the service beginning at 2:00pm.  In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the Cumberland Presbyterian Church or a church / charity of your choosing.
