Addie Bell Christiansen

Addie Bell Christiansen, 92, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Spring Meadows Nursing Home. She was born April 5, 1931 in Clarksville, TN to the late Henry and Annie MayTyler Gray.

Addie spent more than 35 years cleaning for Immaculate Conception Church in Clarksville. She also spent several years selling clothing and Avon. Addie was a member of the Civitan Club of Nashville 1957 and enjoyed community service. Aside from working, Addie loved shopping and being with family and friends. Addie loved dogs and enjoyed caring for them.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving niece who was like a daughter to her, Tonya (Felix) Robinson Jr. of Clarksville, TN; her sister, Ann (Robert) Ferguson of Petersburg, VA; niece and nephews, Annie Mae Gray, Frederick Gray, and Willie Gray, and a host of cousins and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Addie is preceded in death by her brothers, Henry Gray and J.D. Gray; sister, Frances Gray; niece, Sharon Gray; nephew, Michael Ferguson; and niece Cynthia Davis.

A funeral service will be held at Gateway Funeral Home on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
