William Longstreet Jr.

William Longstreet Jr. age 60 of Clarksville, passed away on Saturday May 27, 2017 at Grace Health Care in Clarksville. He was born May 21, 1957 in Crawford, Mississippi, the son of the late William Longstreet Sr. and Annie Will Hairston Harris of Florissant, MO. William had worked in construction during his lifetime. He is survived by his wife Darlena Shockley Longstreet of Clarksville; a son Jhavery Longstreet (Elan) of Rockwall, TX; brothers Dexter Longstreet of Clarksville and Darryl Harris of St. Louis; sisters Lynda Longstreet of Dallas, TX, Lenora Longstreet-Haire of Naperville, IL, and Johnnie Matthews of Muskegon, MI. William is also blessed with one grandchild, Evan William Longstreet. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by brothers James Hairston, Oscar Longstreet, and Charlie Longstreet. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday June 6, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the chapel of Gateway Funeral Home with Pastor J.B. Hairston officiating. Visitation will be on Monday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
