Marie Vanderlaan

Marie Sharon Ann Vanderlaan age 70 of Clarksville, passed away on Sunday October 28, 2018 at Signature Healthcare Center in Clarksville. She was born August 3, 1948 in Woodland, CA, the daughter of the late Charles Vanderlaan Sr. and Alberta Rogers Vanderlaan. Marie had worked over the years as a beautician and hairdresser and most recently had been the manager of a convenience store. She had also been a foster mother. She was a person who was full of life and she loved her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her son David Roberts (Teresea) of Indian Mound, TN; daughters Michelle Roberts of Clarksville; and Alison Rogers (Steve) of Clarksville. She is also survived by her brother Charles Vanderlaan Jr. of Riverside, CA and a sister Lydia Vanderlaan of California. Marie was blessed with five grandchildren, John Roberts, Jessie Roberts, Meagan Solorzano, Kaleb Heady, and Emma Rogers; as well as four great grandchildren, Eden Roberts, Aleiah Wallace, Audrey Solorzano, and Lilly Heady. Memorial Services for Marie will be conducted on Saturday November 3, 2018 at 12 noon at the Bellshire Assembly of God located at 1116 Darbytown Drive Nashville, TN. Visitation will be held at the church from 11:30 A.M. until the time of services.
