Michael Patrick McKenna, II, born on July 19, 1983, passed away on August 18, 2026. Michael, from a young age, courageously faced significant health challenges that required strength and resilience throughout his life. Despite these challenges he continued to live fully and make memories with those he loved. His unexpected passing leaves a tremendous void and is deeply felt by all who knew and loved him.

Michael was a loving son, father, and brother whose spirit left a profound mark on all who were fortunate enough to know him. He is survived by his beloved mother, Margaret Frances McKenna, and his three cherished children: Aidan, Daniel, and Kylie Mae McKenna. He also leaves behind his devoted sister, Sarah Otto. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Michael Patrick McKenna.

Throughout his life, Michael found joy in simple pleasures and meaningful connections. His career was dedicated to hospitality, working at the Wynn Hotel—a role in which he took great pride, embodying the values of service and kindness to both guests and colleagues.

Outside of work, Michael’s passions reflected his vibrant and curious nature. He was an avid fan of Star Wars, enjoyed getting lost in books, and delighted in exploring new worlds through video games. Above all else, Michael’s greatest love was for his family. Being together, was at the center of his life and the source of his brightest happiness.

A cornerstone of Michael’s life was his faith. Before his passing, he experienced spiritual renewal through being saved and baptized, a step that brought him and those close to him great comfort.

Michael Patrick McKenna, II will be remembered for his warmth, his loyalty to family, and his gentle spirit. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will continue to inspire and guide those who knew and loved him.
