Mark Clayton, Jr., born on August 15, 1978, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away on July 28, 1926. In his 47 years, Mark touched the lives of many with his unwavering commitment to his family and the gentle kindness that defined his character.

Mark dedicated his professional life to work as a laborer in road construction. His career was more than a job—it was a testament to his unyielding work ethic and his desire to build a better path, not just for those who would travel the roads, but for those closest to his heart.

Mark's family was the cornerstone of his existence. He is survived by his beloved wife, Stephanie Hamilton, whose partnership and love were central to his happiness. He leaves his 6 children behind- Mark A. Clayton, Eli Clayton, Bryson Clayton, Americus Clayton, Honesty Clayton, and Emily Clayton. They were the joy of his life and the pride that fueled his every endeavor. Mark also leaves behind his sisters, Jeannie R. Clayton and Samantha C. Clayton, who stood with him through the seasons of his life and numerous nieces and nephews. As well as his fur babies Allie and Frankie.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Jeannie M. Martin.

Mark will be remembered for the boundless love, care, and kindness he shared with everyone around him. His heart was gentle, his spirit generous, and his dedication to his family unwavering. He worked tirelessly to provide for those he loved and took great joy in nurturing his children, guiding them with patience and wisdom.

Mark's steadfast presence and compassionate soul leave a lasting imprint on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he is no longer with us, the legacy of his love and the memory of his kindness will continue to inspire his family and friends.

His absence is deeply felt, but those who loved Mark find comfort in the cherished memories they hold, knowing that his spirit will remain with them always.
