Carolyn Annette Downs

Carolyn Annette Downs age 56 of Clarksville, passed away on Friday December 22, 2017 at Skyline in Madison. She was born August 31, 1961 in Clarksville, the daughter of the late Alfred Franklin Downs and Sarah Elizabeth Coppedge Downs of Clarksville. She is a 1979 graduate of Clarksville High School. Carolyn was employed as a receptionist and beautician with Stylemasters Salon for several years until her health no longer permitted her to work. Carolyn was known as friendly and funny and loved to be with people. In addition to her Mother, she is survived by her son Anthony Papke of Clarksville; a sister Jackie Struckmeyer of Clarksville; and a nephew Gage Struckmeyer ( Carley) of Clarksville. In addition to her father, Carolyn is preceded in death by her brother Allen Downs. There will be no public funeral services.
