Chris has lived his entire life in middle Tennessee and grew up in Dickson where he graduated from Dickson County High School. He attended Jefferson State Community College in Birmingham, AL where he received an associate’s degree in funeral service education. He also graduated from Union University in Jackson, TN with a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership and business management. In addition to being a dually licensed funeral director and embalmer, Chris is a Registered Nurse and Emergency Medical Technician. Having spent more than 25 years in funeral service and health care, his passion is for helping people. He is a licensed insurance agent, family service counselor, and is a member of the Church of Christ.
Wade has been in funeral service since the age of 16 and has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer for over 35 years. He has been a co-owner of a funeral home for over 25 years when he and his wife Tracy decided to re-locate to Clarksville in order to be closer to their family. Wade and Tracy have a son, Eric, who lives in Nashville and a daughter, Dr. Erin Taylor, and a son in law, Dr. Vince Taylor, who live in Clarksville. Wade and Tracy are also blessed with a granddaughter, Lydia, here in Clarksville. Wade is a graduate of the Indiana College of Mortuary Science and has also served for 8 years as county coroner. He is a member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and Murat Shrine. Wade is excited to be a part of Gateway Funeral Home and excited to be living in Clarksville and to begin a new phase of his career in funeral service.
Terry grew up in Southern Kentucky where he managed a dairy farm for a long time. He moved Clarksville in 2000 and has worked at Resthaven Memorial Gardens since 2009, working as a family service counselor and specializing in cemetery and pre-need funeral sales. Terry and his wife Sandy of 29 years, have four children and 13 grandchildren. Terry enjoys helping families during their time of need and assisting them in pre-planning their cemetery and funeral needs.
Jason Dickinson is a native of Haywood County, TN. He is a 1988 graduate of Haywood High School and a 1996 graduate of Northwest Mississippi College School of Mortuary Science. Jason has more than 15 years of experience in funeral service. Mr. Dickinson, is also credentialed in crematory operations.
Brian grew up in Tennessee Ridge and graduated from Houston County High School. He attended Austin Peay State University, John A. Gupton College, and Bethel University. He is currently working on an MBA. Brian began his funeral career at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly as a part-time employee almost 20 years ago. He soon felt his passion was to become a funeral director. Brian also spent several years as a law enforcement officer including positions in patrol and criminal investigations. Brian is married to Leah, a flight nurse. They have 3 daughters and are members of Wildwood Valley Church of Christ.
A native of Dickson, Lois Sanders has worked in the funeral business for over twenty years. She and her husband, Dan, have two children and two grandchildren. They operate a 200-year family farm where they raise beef cattle and hay. She is a licensed funeral director and insurance agent.
Alan lives in Ashland City, TN where he is the manager and licensed funeral director for Boyd Funeral Home. Alan has a long history in law enforcement and has found his “calling” in funeral service. Alan also serves families at Gateway Funeral Home & Cremation Center location in Clarksville.
